Xeats, a rapidly growing food delivery startup operating in Vavuniya, Kilinochchi, and Jaffna, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and oversee the efficient management of our delivery operations. This critical role involves ensuring the timely and smooth execution of all delivery orders, managing a team of delivery assistants, and handling various operational challenges.
Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently manage order processing and delivery in multiple regions, ensuring accurate and prompt fulfillment .
2. Lead and support a team of delivery assistants, fostering performance and skill development .
3. Proactively solve operational challenges and ensure smooth operations .
4. Maintain service quality, conduct quality checks, and drive improvement .
5. Track performance with metrics and KPIs, informing strategic decisions .
6. Manage inventory for seamless order fulfillment .
7. Handle inquiries and feedback for exceptional customer satisfaction .
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field .
2. Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the food delivery or logistics industry .
3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations .
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills .
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities .
6. Familiarity with the Vavuniya, Kilinochchi, and Jaffna regions and their local logistics .
7. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting .
8. Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed .
9. Located in Vavuniya or willing to relocate .
